Screen is blank or flashing or not working

If your screen is not working properly, there are a few things that you can try first to fix this issue without the need to open a ticket. These steps can fix most issues that users will run into and can save you time and effort of trying to fix it or wait for IT to come help.

Check to make sure the cables and power cord are secured correctly.
1. Make sure the device is on and running.
2. Ensure the power cable going to your display is plugged into both the wall outlet, and the display device.
3. Make sure the display cable going to a monitor or other display are secured into their socket. Sometimes a display cable will become loose and therefore result in patchy and also a loss of display

Try installing any windows updates that are available. Your display driver may be out of date resulting in various display errors.

1. Open Settings on Windows 10.
2. Click on Update & Security.
3. Click on Windows Update.
4. Click the View optional updates option (if available).
5. Expand the update category. For example, Driver updates.
6. Check the optional update you want to download.
7. Click the Download and install button.
